Roberto Garcia is an architectural photographer born and raised in the north of Spain, in a small town near Bilbao.

He has a degree in Audiovisual Communication with a specialty in film and video. His fascination with cinema from an early age led him to take an SLR camera and start experimenting with photography in his teenage years.

For 20 years he has worked in London, Milan, Paris, Madrid, and Barcelona, cities full of architecture, history, and learning. From his beginnings as a photographer for a well-known concert hall in Barcelona, through the world of fashion and its catwalks, as a photographer and also as an editor, he grew to love architectural photography and interiors around 2011.

Based in Los Angeles since 2015, some of his clients include Netflix, Airbnb, Amiri, Ben Soleimani, Common Living, and Drummonds UK.

He has always felt that the best way to nurture his soul as a photographer is to fill his mind with inspiring images through travel, art, and working in different places.

Wat vind je het leukst aan je werk?

First of all, I like meeting creative people and photographing their design projects. I always try to enhance their ideas and translate them into great photos. My goal is to create beautiful and striking images so my clients can showcase their work.
Another positive factor about my work is that it is always different and I get to work in different locations with different people.

Welke soorten shoots heb je gedaan en hoe heb je ze speciaal gemaakt?

I have worked for a multitude of clients in the last 6 years in Los Angeles, from high-end designers to commercial companies such as Netflix, Houzz, or, Airbnb.
Every shoot is different and preparation is always fundamental. Understanding how the light affects the space is key, as well as checking the space beforehand to see the best possible angles.
I like to discuss my client's needs before the shoot to better accommodate my work to their goals.
