Meer over Ryan C....
Wat vind je het leukst aan je werk?
The people, intimate connection, and creation. Every photoshoot is an opportunity to hear someone's story, make them laugh, build trust, and empower them to own their impact. We all have a unique expression, and capturing that moment in time is special. We create something together that maybe either of us didn't know was possible. We explore that through play and curiosity. Seeing someone look at the back of the camera and say, OMG, or "Wait...that's me?" never gets old.
Welke soorten shoots heb je gedaan en hoe heb je ze speciaal gemaakt?
I've photographed everything from commercial food and beverage campaigns to families, branding sessions, restaurants, editorial portraits, models, and corporate clients. No matter the assignment, my approach is the same: make people feel comfortable, stay present, and pay attention to the small details that elevate an image. Every client has a different story, and I enjoy finding the sweet spot to help open people up to being their true self and allow them to be seen. I'm not sure if this males rthem special, but I am known to always take my shoes off on shoot to get grounded, and I climb on things to get a shot and also dance. Music is a must as it's a gateway to creativity.
Prijzen, onderscheidingen en erkenningen ontvangen
My work has been featured on PBS's Colors of Atlanta, where I was one of twelve photographers selected to create an original concept shoot celebrating the city. I've also photographed multiple commercial campaigns for nationally recognized brands and have collaborated on three published cookbooks. I've had images on the cover of magazines in Atlanta and California. The one I feel most humbled by is the many trainings and teaching other photographers, and the recognition I'm most proud of, though, and do this for, is the repeat business and referrals from clients who trust me to tell their story well.
Een leuk feitje over deze fotograaf
I will approach strangers and offer photoshoots. For example, I love yoga, and proposed I take photos at my favorite studio. It turns out that's a pretty useful skill as a photographer. I'm also a bit of a music enthusiast, a movie lover, and I get inspiration for photoshoots, and love to dance and move my body! And I now like to discover fears and challenge them. For example, I recently did an open mic for stand-up comedy just because I was terrified to get on stage. So I did it to overcome it!
