I enjoy the variety and unpredictability of the work, meeting new people, and being trusted to capture meaningful moments. There’s something rewarding about turning real experiences into images that people can return to and connect with over time.

Welke soorten shoots heb je gedaan en hoe heb je ze speciaal gemaakt?

I’ve done many portrait sessions, along with a range of documentary-style and event shoots. With families, I like to keep things relaxed and playful, especially with kids, because genuine laughter and movement often lead to the most natural and memorable images. I focus on creating an easy environment where people can just be themselves.

My work has been featured in exhibitions and film festivals across the Midwest and internationally, including gallery shows and experimental film screenings. I’ve also completed an artist residency at the Trout Museum of Art, where I developed new installation-based video work.

A fun fact about me is that I grew up on a working farm in Wisconsin, which shaped how I see light, seasons, and everyday moments. That early experience of paying attention to subtle changes in nature still influences how I approach photography and filmmaking today.
