Lana is self taught and motivated photographer that get inspired by everyday life, nature and by family values. Was born in USSR and migrated to USA in 2006 and gained lots of priceless life experiences.
Photography was always with her intuitively and naturally since childhood spending time with dad processing images in dark room, having portable camera and until getting professional camera in 2013, before that she pursued carrier of a geographer and being a model.
During photoshoot she make sure people are relaxed and just enjoying themself and the environment, she works around and let moment to unfold.

Wat vind je het leukst aan je werk?

It is never the same, each situation and session is different. I love to create and up to new challenges, learning, meet people, see new places, events, emotions.

Welke soorten shoots heb je gedaan en hoe heb je ze speciaal gemaakt?

I have done few weddings and after that clients returned and I captured a baby showers, I feel it is about being open to client and understand their needs and being comfortable and confident.
I did family sessions and I focused on frames that would be timeless, I love real emotions to be captured, body language and connection, hands, hugs, feelings.
In portraiture I love to capture subject in their natural environment and to tell a story. I had to learn about a portrait lens and took a special class for that matter.
