No stranger to the creative industry, Tris spent the majority of the past 25 years either in front of a Mac or behind a camera. After 12 years of agency experience, he spent the following decade working for a non-profit charity; mentoring students, designing literature, photographing and filmmaking across Asia. In 2016 Tris joined one of the biggest Pharma media-comms agencies in the UK and in July 2019, Tris became Director of True Romance LTD.

In his 7 years as a professional photographer, Tris has shot dozens of weddings and countless portraits – for models, for non-profit, for corporate clients, and for fun!

Photography and people are his passions – his focus is telling a unique story in every picture he takes.

Wat vind je het leukst aan je werk?

Each shoot is so different. Dynamic people, places and locations. Making new friends and building new relationships. Being free to experiment. Being creative. Being proud of my work.

Welke soorten shoots heb je gedaan en hoe heb je ze speciaal gemaakt?

I've done many portrait shoots, but the city urban neon shoot was my favourite - working with gritty surroundings that you only find at night in the city. I loved the story the pictures told.

Prijzen, onderscheidingen en erkenningen ontvangen

The National Trust have featured some of my shots of their heritage sites here in the North West of the UK. To be honest, I don't look for recognition. I love photography, and when clients love what I shoot, then that's enough :)
