Veronica has been a professional photographer since 2018 while starting a career in aerospace engineering after graduating in that field from MIT. Photography started as a hobby while she studied abroad in South Africa, documenting the wildlife, landscapes, and people she was surrounded by while there. This ultimately became more of a passion, especially once weddings came into the picture. This resulted in wedding photography being her full time job since early 2020. With an engineering background and an artistic eye while maintaining a true desire to connect and tell others’ stories, Veronica is sure to keep a technical aspect in her shooting style while prioritizing the experience of the people involved, so they’re brought back to the moments that were captured. With editing that brings in the true to life colors with a bit more of a pop and warmth, and highlighting couples and love in the midst of the nature around them, Veronica hopes everyone can feel the emotions radiating from the images.

Wat vind je het leukst aan je werk?

I love so many things about my job, but especially enjoy showing love through photos. Something that can feel intangible or hard to express is blatant to me when I get to know couples and their loved ones on their wedding days, and I truly enjoy showing such a magical connection through something so tangible as a photo. Telling stories for others through my perspective is such a special experience and I love being able to give people a way to keep memories like these alive even for generations beyond them.

Welke soorten shoots heb je gedaan en hoe heb je ze speciaal gemaakt?

I have done many types of shoots, including weddings, engagements, proposals, maternity sessions, newborns, families, birthdays, and product photos. Documenting each shoot individually and telling each story as its own rather than going through a list of pre-determined poses makes every shoot special. I am there to show each moment through my artistic eye, and with a cinematic documentary approach to photography, this is different and special every single time.

Although I haven’t received any awards for my photography, my photos have been featured in digital blogs and magazines in the past. I look forward to more opportunities in the future!
