I am an experienced photographer having worked in California, New York and Boston.
My love of photography came in the form of a hand me down Canon AE-1 from my uncle. I had a friend who worked in a photo lab at a university at the time. Although having no formal photography education, he guided me and taught me everything about photography. I assisted him at the lab and learned the art. I have since loved the process, the ability to create something that lasts forever. I have shot over 10 weddings, multiple festivals, and corporate events; from panels to conventions. I have also done school and professional portraits over that time span.

What do you love about your job?

I love telling stories. I love capturing something that will make someone relive a moment just by looking at it.
I love capturing happiness. They say time is one of the few things we can never get back. I like stealing that and keeping it forever.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

Portraits mostly.
The thing about portraits is that each of them is different. The key is making someone comfortable to the point where they don't feel like they are in front of a camera. The special part is having the ability to capture someone's essence, as they are, and make that visible.
It's a beautiful challenge.
