More about Alan D....

What do you love about your job?

I love everything about photography from prepping my equipment, shooting, and editing. There is just something magical about uploading wedding shoots to your hard drive and sifting through all the shots you took. It's a great feeling when you know you captured that special moment that you could share with the person or people who were etched into that single frame you took. I like the instant gratification that I get when I push the button. It makes me smile.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

Since I started shooting professionally I have worn many hats in back of the lens. After falling in love with travel photography in 2015, I jumped into studio portraits. As my skills increased I went on to shooting corporate events, proposals, weddings, family sessions, real estate, food, the list goes on. Every shoot I treat with 100% heart and creativity which makes the moment memorable and fun to capture. The important interaction with the subject from each shoot made them all unique and special to me.
