More about Alex C....
What do you love about your job?
Even if the nature of my job is the same, the fact that I meet so many different people is very rewarding. I love being a contractor because I get snippets of insight into workforces that I wouldn't get to see otherwise. I love being able to compose my own shots, and be trusted to do so.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have shot weddings, family/graduation/newborn portraits, headshots, product photos in-use and against a backdrop for Amazon/eBay use, events, architectural, film stills/behind the scenes, and studio/strobe work. I make each client know that even though I wield the camera, they are welcome to talk to me about what’s working for them. If they ever feel uncomfortable I want to pause and talk about alternatives so the shoot is a positive experience for them too. Although I make the lens and aesthetic decisions, I want their input if they wish to be a part of the process.

A fun fact about this photographer
I helped socialize a pack of wolf pups as a kid. They are naturally shy of humans and it took a full day before one of the pups would even approach me!
