More about Alyssa T....
What do you love about your job?
The only way I can describe it is by comparing it to something else. You know that feeling you get when you do something you love? Whether it's playing soccer, writing, singing, whatever- I get that every time I'm holding a camera. I used to play soccer growing up and eventually I got to a point where my mind sort of turned off and my muscle memory took over. I studied the game, then mastered the game, and loved the challenge of that process. Photography is similar. You get better and better with each picture. I've stopped having to think so much about the technical process and now I can focus on what's important- the subject and the story. I love telling that story.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
How do I make shoots special? I like to incorporate interesting props! This often involves sparklers, smoke bombs, glitter, balloons, bold outfits and more. This is especially useful on shoots with people who are not experienced in front of a camera. It helps bring out genuine excitement, emotion, and movement.

A fun fact about this photographer
My company's name, Life Like Ruby's, was a random generated name created by my xbox. I'm kind of a nerd.
