More about Amanda B....
What do you love about your job?
I love to capture people's memories to tell their stories about who they are, and where they come from. Everyone has a unique background to share, a story to tell, and even an announcement they want to make. What better way to share it than through pictures? I love connecting with my clients as a friend, getting to know them, and showing them just how much fun they can have with a photography session. What I enjoy the most is to meet everyone's unique perspectives and personalities, and perhaps even to experience different cultures once in a while.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
Most of my shoots are focusing on families, high school seniors, and occasionally a courthouse ceremony or elopement. How I make them special is that I connect with the client, share their excitement, and be completely transparent with them with my services. I work with the client one on one through every step of the process, sharing with them ideas for photos I think they would love and enjoy the most, and get their thoughts about what kind of feel they are looking for in the editing process. I mostly focus on natural lighting and color adjustments, keeping my turn around time very quick and efficient.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
I am hoping to receive my first one at some point! I have yet to submit any of my work to any organizations that would award me.
A fun fact about this photographer
I am a volunteer emergency responder for Team Rubicon, and I live in a 40 foot school bus conversion with two cats, a dog, and a bearded lizard! I also have my HAM radio license (K7NTR) so I can talk to anyone on the radio anywhere I can reach!
