What do you love about your job?

I love meeting new people and hearing their stories. It is always fun to travel and to get to capture special moments with people. I'm always pushing myself to be more creative and to make sure my clients are enjoying themselves.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I have done a wide range of shoots from wedding to maternity, fashion and travel. My favorite thing is to get to know the client when working with people and help them feel comfortable being a subject I'm taking photos of. It's really easy to capture awkward expressions on camera but when your client feels comfortable, you capture genuine expressions and emotions. This is always beautiful to me.

I started and ran my own vegan restaurant in Cape Town before moving here.
