More about Amy M....

What do you love about your job?

My passion is capturing the personalities behind the poses and the stories behind the places. When I am not working with a client I am usually found exploring new places and photographing people on the street or capturing new angles of places. My favorite part is going back to see how it translates onto a photo. When shooting for clients, there is nothing better than providing them with photographs that captures what they hoped for - and more.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I have done many kinds of shoots. Some of my favorite have been taking children to a park or local activity and just letting them explore and have fun while I capture them candidly. I have also done this with families where I have them wander around an open area or park and just shoot them as they are with some posed shots in between. It always ends up showing a great mix of stylized shots with some of their true interactions and personalities which I think is the essence of the photos.

A fun fact about this photographer

I am one of four girls in my family and I went on to get married and have three girls myself. Lots of girl knowledge:)
