What do you love about your job?
I love creating beauty and showing my vision of life through my photos. I believe that with the right view our life can look like just like a movie.
I also believe that businesses can portray their vision, values and ideas with the right brand visuals.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
Fashion and individual portraits. I always start by preparing a mood board - a detailed description of the idea. This helps us bring our ideas to life in much better quality because each photoshoot is unique and can’t be done by copying another.
Food photography - I like to play with light and angles to showcase the dish in the best way. Only a person who loves food as much as I do can depict every single detail in such a juicy and tasty way.
Product photography - This is art in on itself: to not only show something on a white background but to make it tell emotion that stands behind it. That’s why I take a different approach to every single photoshoot.
Event photography - The feelings people have after your event are strongly affected by the quality of photos you have from it. For me, it’s important to keep sincere emotion, so the person isn’t posing for me but actually let living in the moment, enjoying the event. That’s why to capture the atmosphere I become part of the event. And that is exactly why I’m able to get such natural and lively shots.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
The main award for me is the happiness of my clients after my photoshoot. I received a lot of good reviews for my works and I continue to develop my skills
I'm proud that I’ve found my style and was able to apply the knowledge of Russian photographers (which I’ve never seen with any local ones) in my work.
A fun fact about this photographer
When I started working as a photographer in Canada, I was living in a small French town in the middle of the forest. I don't speak any French and it was difficult to get orders for photography. But in a couple of month I already did a few photoshoots for a cosmetic brand and three personal photoshoots. We've found our own language to understand each other. Now I can say that my clients and I understand each other without any words.
