Originally from the UK, I worked in film in London and then relocated to the States. I studied photography in college and now teach high school as well as shoot professionally on location and out of my studio. I have worked for many magazines, architects, universities, artists, poets and authors.
I love everything about it. It's always fun, there's always a story. Photography is a true time capsule to preserve a moment of something you saw. Working with people is especially satisfying when communicating an understanding and perception of oneself. We are evaluated by the necessity of our image.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
Comfort and communication is paramount to a successful shoot. Perhaps a few change of outfit or hairstyle - keep working, keep trying different things, have a plan but be spontaneous.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
I have been an exhibiting artist and have shown internationally. Work in the Newark Museum prints collection. Five New York Times reviews for art exhibitions. 2020 work purchased for the Mercer County permanent collection. 2019 best photo - Mercer County.
