What do you love about your job?

I love bringing out the natural energy of my subjects. I believe that every individual as their own personalities and different ways of expressing emotions. I like to get to know my subjects by tapping into what makes them their own individual.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I have shot many weddings. I would estimate in the last ten years I have shot at least 150. A couple starting their new lives together can be a really exciting (and sometimes stressful). My job is to understand that most of the time these people are not models and they are looking to be to bring out the energy they share with one another and making them feel confident.

I have been a finalist for best photo of the year for a previous photography company I worked for.

A fun fact about this photographer

Besides being a photographer, being a mom is my favorite (and most rewarding) job. I enjoy a good art film. I have recently produced a film that is a selection for the Tribeca Film Festival in New work. I am constantly exploring new music. There just isn't enough time to see all the artist I'd like. I would describe myself as an empath that is passionate about humanitarian work and activism.
