Ashley Reed began her photography journey in high school and fell in love with capturing people's stories. After graduating college and getting married, her husband bought her a starter photography set so she could pursue her passion. She has spent the past four years capturing love stories, families, wildlife and professional photographs for clients all over New England and Internationally. She truly enjoys capturing authentic moments and genuine emotion from the people she works with and she believes the best photos are simply of you being yourself.
I love telling peoples stories as they are. I have never been one for photoshop. I love capturing moments in time; memories that can be held for a lifetime.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done everything from weddings to family portraits. Recently I have been working on doing lifestyle sessions and working on individual portraits like senior sessions. I try to find locations where I can truly incorporate nature into sessions; the wind whipping her hair on a mountain top, the surf splashing over a young couple or sunlight streaming through a forest grove. I find it gives a whole new element to photos.

A fun fact about this photographer
I used to work on a ranch that had horses, cows, ducks and a peacock. That was how I learned that peacocks make the same sound as "Kevin" from Disney's 'UP'. I also have a deep love for all things Disney.
