Brad Hammonds is an experienced, passionate photographer and newly established resident of the great city of San Antonio. Having spent the better part of the last decade living and traveling abroad, Brad developed a keen interest in capturing the world in photos. Brad currently works as editor and senior photographer for an international cycling magazine balancing travel, photography and content creation—all on two wheels. When he's not working or traveling, he's here in San Antonio searching for the best BBQ.
I love connecting with clients to make your vision a reality. Beyond that, I love searching for honest moments between the scenes in a shoot, be it at a wedding, portrait session or fashion shoot. Capturing the subtlety of genuine emotion speaks to viewers in a unique way.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
Recently, I've been working mostly in fashion and portrait photography, with several exciting international campaigns this year. For me, getting the right shot on set is only half the challenge. Equally important is building a comfortable and fun working environment so that all those involved (and sometimes it's a lot of people involved) have a great experience. When home, I shoot mostly real estate, aiming to present properties in their best light and angles. My passion will always be travel photography, searching for moments to connect with the familiar in unfamiliar places. And of course, my work as editor and photographer for a cycling magazine keeps me on my toes and edge of my seat (literally) capturing moments while climbing 10,000 foot peaks.

A fun fact about this photographer
My favorite activity is cycling and my favorite food is pizza—but the two don't always go well together.
