More about Brendy D....

What do you love about your job?

Photography is incredibly rewarding for me – there’s something so exciting about capturing emotive, real moments. My photographs celebrate your life, your love, your happiness in a natural, genuine way.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I have done many birthdays and engagement shoots. in the past. I like to do my best to make the clients feel comfortable, energetic, and royal as possible. For example, having to constantly pose and hold a smile can be tiring to some people, so I always bring to my shoots my portable speakers so that my clients are naturally smiling, and exhuming an upbeat vibe while they are listening to their favorite jams. I also come prepared with a large umbrella and complimentary bottles of cool water to keep them shaded and hydrated since I am based in Florida, where the weather is typically hot and always unpredictable.

Awards, honors, and recognitions received

Best Photography Project submission for my 2016 'This is Cuba' photos.

A fun fact about this photographer

For four years I lived in the Boca Raton area, studying health administration at FAU, then I lived in Gainesville completing my MBA at UF, and now I have settled in southwest Florida as a healthcare IT project manager. Although my friends say I'm just tech-support, I say I'm helping to save lives.
