What do you love about your job?

What I love about photography is the ability to bring joy to others through my images. Seeing people light up when they see themselves in my photographs and love what they see is a truly rewarding experience. I take great pleasure in seeing my photographs being used as cherished memories, profile pictures, and even becoming someone's favorite photo. Through my lens, I have the ability to showcase the world from my unique perspective, capturing all its beauty as I see it. This is what I love most about photography - the power to evoke emotions, share experiences and preserve memories for generations to come.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

As a versatile photographer, I have had the privilege of capturing a wide range of special moments, events, and experiences, including concerts, baby showers, birthday parties, couple shoots, family reunions, food photography, and product photography. With each assignment, I approach it with a unique perspective, capturing not only the essence of the event or product, but also the special moments, emotions, and details that make each one truly unforgettable.

Whether it's capturing the energy of a concert, the joy of a family reunion, the beauty of a delicious meal, or the unique features of a product, I strive to create images that not only showcase the subject matter, but also tell a story and evoke emotions. My aim is to bring out the best in each subject, whether it's a person, an event, or a product, and create images that will be cherished for years to come.

A fun fact about this photographer

As the son of a an artist and a nurse, I bring a unique blend of creativity and care to my photography. After graduating from Howard University and honing my skills in the restaurant industry as a waiter and bartender for almost a decade, I found my true calling in photography. My passion for capturing life's special moments and showcasing the world from my perspective only grew stronger, and I knew it was time to pursue my dream of becoming a full-time photographer.

My favorite photographer, Gordon Parks, continues to inspire me with his powerful imagery and impactful storytelling. I strive to bring a similar level of creativity, passion, and authenticity to my own work, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my vision with the world through my lens. Whether capturing the joy of a family reunion, the energy of a concert, or the beauty of a sunset, I am always inspired by the world around me and committed to capturing its magic in every frame.
