What do you love about your job?
I like working with people and love it when I can make a connection with a new client and put them at ease. Seeing someone who starts out a little awkward and ten minutes later they are having a blast is a wonderful feeling. My real pleasure is when my clients get their finished images and they are blown away.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I like the challenge of a family photoshoot. Talking to the kids early and often allows me to figure out their personalities and what their ideas and concerns are. If the kids aren't happy, ain't nobody happy is the way photoshoots work. It also gives me the opportunity to get different sub-units of the family together and some great candid shots of individuals.

I have 100 U.S patents! My day job is a Research Scientist at one of the Twin Cities most famous companies.
