What do you love about your job?
They say you'll never work a day in your life if you love your job, well thats so true!
Photography isn't just my job it's my passion.
I feel super privileged to capture these special memories for my clients and give them amazing images that will last a lifetime and that will hopefully be passed on through generations, which is pretty amazing when you think about it like that!
I love meeting new people everyday and building new relationships.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done many family shoots, the key to capturing amazing family portraits is to make sure that each family is as prepared as possible before the shoot so that everyone feels relaxed on the day.
If the Parents are relaxed, the kids are relaxed and I'm relaxed! It's much easier to capture natural expressions when the whole family are having a good time!
I will give the families advice beforehand about what to wear in their photo shoot so that when they get their images back everyone looks comfortable and well presented which adds that extra special wow factor to the finished product.
I also give them advice on what to bring/ what not to bring- for example if the children have any special toys/ bikes/ surf boards that we can include in the shoot. To leave mobiles/ wallets in the car or at home so that nobody has distractions or a bulge in their pocket!
I also find out names and ages of the children before hand to prepare myself with things that I can bring along to encourage smiles and make them feel at ease on the day calling them by name.

I grew up on a small island off the south coast of England which was only 1 mile long with no roads or shops!
