China L. Moore is a Detroit native photographer, specializing in fashion, wedding, and portraiture. While self-taught, China has also taken some formal photography courses both in film and digital photography. Having a passion for people, China loves to capture special moments of love, creativity, and joyous moments shared by her friends, family, and clients.
I love the fact that photography allows people to relive their favorite moments, or even be apart of moments they didn't realize were happening! Through photography, I'm able to make lifelong memories more tangible, sharable, and from a point of view that people will remember and love!
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I've done many types of shoots all the way from products and food photography to business head-shots, weddings, and fashion. The biggest thing about any genre of photography is to create a meaningful connection with the client. I do that by being very involved and attentive to what the client wants and what their vision is for the finished product. In addition, I love to collaborate with the client as a team member, and can offer ideas when the finished goal may not be as easy to visualize for them. Planning, brainstorming, and helping create that vision is a valued process that I always take the time to do, because two brains are always better than one!
