Claudia is a Santa Fe based photographer with 21 years of professional experience. She holds both an Associates in Fine Arts and a Bachelor's in Photography from the Maryland Institute College of Art. She loves photographing people, animals, landscapes, artwork, and jewelry. When working with people and animals she prefers to use natural light in both indoor and outdoor settings. Her passion for photography started as a child using a 35mm film camera. Traditionally trained in the darkroom developing her own film and printing her photographs using an enlarger she now focuses on digital photography and does all of her post-processing on a computer providing clients with high resolution 300 dpi images as well as offering printing services.
I love the excitement of capturing a fleeting moment and preserving it. Looking at photographs and takes me back in time to not only that moment but that time in my life and I enjoy being able to do the same for my clients.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I always enjoy collaborating with clients to capture their vision as well as introducing my own ideas and poses that flatter every figure. I want your personality to show in my photographs and to make you feel comfortable being yourself. In working with artwork or objects I photograph from multiple angles to allow texture to come through and make the work shine vividly.
