What do you love about your job?

The opportunity I have to tell the stories of the time I lived and the people, the places and the stories that were part of my journey.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

Commercial work for different small-brands owners in Venezuela and United States.

Several different shoots that had as subjects celebrations, music performances and private parties.

Vast history of boudoir and fashion shoots in Venezuela and United States, with amateur and professional models.

Documentary work done for different artists, athletes and entrepreneurs, as well as for behind the scenes work created for several different productions.

Independent documentary work that has homelessness as the main subject exposed.

I will say that the only thing that makes my work special, regardless of the subject, is the love and the fulfillment I feel when I capture a beautiful, significant and everlasting image.

Awards, honors, and recognitions received

I am proud of having created my own website (isturizstudios.com) from scratch. It's a work in progress but it is something has required a lot of patience and introspection.

I have a long-term vision that is to use the site as a platform to communicate with the world.

I like to sing and dance when nobody is watching (folk, funk, punk, indie, hip-hop, rock, reggae).
