More about Dafna G....
What do you love about your job?
What I love most about my work is the ability to observe and connect - with people, with objects and with places - and to translate those connections into images. Photography allows me to slow down, pay attention, and discover meaning in small details. Whether I’m working with someone on a portrait or experimenting with light in the studio, there’s always a moment where something real reveals itself.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I’ve photographed both corporate and private events — from business conferences and company gatherings to weddings and family celebrations. What makes each shoot special is the way I approach it: I pay close attention to the atmosphere, the people, and the details that make the event unique. I try to be as present and unobtrusive as possible, so I can capture natural, meaningful moments that reflect the true energy of the occasion.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
I was selected as this year’s participating artist in the Borderland Residency Program in Goch, which brings together artists from the Rhine-Meuse region for collaborative projects and exhibitions.
A fun fact about this photographer
I’m also an exhibiting artist, and I’m currently participating in a few art exhibitions here in Düsseldorf.
