More about Dan M....
What do you love about your job?
I like working with people, and for people, taking pictures that will help them sell there product or service.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
All types of shoots, with and without people in the shots. I sometimes need to find talent, to hold or wear products. I make a request on Facebook, and find people. Inexperienced models would be tough to shoot for a photographer who is not good with people. I am able to bring the best, genuine expressions out of people. I am very precise, and controlling of the poses that look best. I know when I see what I like, and know what looks great. Of course, being tethered to a laptop in the studio often shows the client, on the fly, immediately, that I am getting what they want!
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
Silver Gavel award from Sotheby's Auction House, obtained from one of the experts there. I have never really liked entering contests, the satisfied client is the only thing I have ever wanted.
A fun fact about this photographer
I learned about the work ethic at a very young age, delivering newspapers before 6:30 am every morning, all the way through high school. I would also, of course, have to go door to door every week. I would collect payment for the paper, and have the money to pay the district manager, every week.
