More about Dan M....
What do you love about your job?
Every photo has to be crafted around the subject, and there is no single formula that always works. I enjoy taking the basic "ingredients" that are foundational in photography and finding the small tweaks that will take a picture from basic to wow.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
One of my recent projects was for a jeweler, and it was my first time working in the genre. I learned a new set of techniques and employed new software to create images that showed the exquisite details of the antique and vintage pieces for their website and a billboard campaign.

A fun fact about this photographer
My first camera was my grandfather's Sears SLR. I had no idea how to use it or what anything in the case was for. I sold it to National Camera, and I would pay 10X what they paid me then to have it back now.
