More about Daria P....
What do you love about your job?
What I love about photography is the constant exploration of subtle changes in life and the environment, as well as meeting new people and capturing their individual, unique moments.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have primarily worked on documentary photography of cultural events, performances, street events, and portraits. I strive to make my work distinctive by capturing the unique atmosphere of each event, the emotions and interactions of people, as well as subtle, often unnoticed details that reveal a deeper story. Natural lighting is important to me, and what makes my work special is the focus on composition, the individuality of people, and conveying authenticity along with artistic vision.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
I exhibit my fine art photography in exhibitions. My most recent shows took place in Paris in 2024–2025, notably at Espace 49, Friches Et Nous la Paix, as well as within the Open Studio program at the Cité Internationale des Arts.
A fun fact about this photographer
When I was a teenager, I had my own punk rock band. One day, I brought a drum set home while my mom was on vacation. At the same time, my dog gave birth to five puppies, and they were sleeping in the big drum on a blanket. So all our home rehearsals had to be canceled.
