More about David B....

What do you love about your job?

I continue my love of photography and take great pleasure when my clients report a bump in sales from the use of my marketing imagery and happy to encourage discussions of how that is done.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I have shot a lot. I began shooting hundreds of retail catalogs but then began shooting food for many major food magazines. That led to advertising and evolved into packaging. Packaging requires a unique ability to get the customer to reach for your product. Major food manufacturers often report a bump in sales due to my understanding and ability to focus on the universal favor cues that motivate the buyer. Now cocktails are my thing but haven't stopped shooting food or still life and have expanded to food lifestyle.

Awards, honors, and recognitions received

I make money for my clients. That's pretty rewarding.

A fun fact about this photographer

I had worked as a freelance assistant to over 500 photographers giving me a unique training of the many different ways to problem solve.
