More about David S....
What do you love about your job?
Photography can be demanding because it is a technical and artistic profession and that's whatI like about. No two jobs are the same and that, to me, is what keeps it exciting and fresh
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
Each event, portrait and building is different. I try to make families and individuals feel relaxed and not intimidated by pro cameras and lighting, so I make a point of finding a location, type of clothing and style for each group or individual to get the best results. Architectural and product work often is set up be an art director and it's my job to create images that represents the art director's vision.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
In 2007 I was awarded "Best Part Time teacher" at the College of Southern Nevada.
A fun fact about this photographer
My career, before photography, was a professional ice skater and that's why I was traveling all over the world. I met many celebrities and world class athletes. It really was a must to have a good camera to photograph the Colleseum in Rome and the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Nowadays, I fly a drone and ballroom dance for fun
