More about Mario W....
What do you love about your job?
I love to capture my own interpretation of a scene or client. I love taking pictures that don't mean a thing to anyone else but the client. Elements such as an old rocking chair or car or a place with historical significance are built into most but not all of my work. I don't care to tell a story as much as I like to provoke conversation, curiosity, or feeling.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done all types of shoots except for boudoir and newborn. I seriously don't think about how they are special. I just take an idea and I chase it all of the way until I've exhausted it. The client makes the moment special. I just freeze it in time. The more authentic the person is then the easier it is to capture them.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
I was the featured photographer in a gallery, I was guest on TV once, and my work was published in a magazine.
A fun fact about this photographer
I'm addicted to cupcakes. Not the icing nearly as much as the cake. I don't really care for whole cakes the way I do for cupcakes. I'm not sure why.
