More about Dwight L....
What do you love about your job?
One of the things I love most about my job is the freedom it gives me to pick the type of assignments I want and do best. That gives me the greatest opportunity to succeed each and every time I pick up my camera.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done all types of shoots from R&B groups in the studio, to Jewelry for magazines outside on a rock, to food shots in a small room in the back of a New York restaurant. What I have found most critical for each and everyone is the same element. You must get the lighting right. If you don't it simply does not work. As a result, I have become somewhat of a master of using light.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
The greatest honor I've ever received is when a customer keeps coming back for more. Awards and honors are nice, but when the phone doesn't ring it's all meaningless.
A fun fact about this photographer
I had my first poem published while at Community College of Philadelphia many years ago. It was a pleasure to have others take the time to read my thoughts.
