What do you love about your job?
I love showing anyones true self in an image. Many people believe that their beauty, or natural structure is what makes them look good. While this is true, I think that expressing the personality through someone's eyes is the true way to show that anyone, no matter how they look, can feel beautiful.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done all sorts of portrait sessions, but my favorite are probably senior portraits. At this time in their lives, high school seniors are about to be released into the real world and they begin to take on their adult traits. At the same time, the parents are watching their kiddos grow into adults. My ability to bring out a person's personality, matched with beautiful light, brings a very special memory to the entire family, even if the senior doesn't appreciate it at the time!

A fun fact about this photographer
I played drums for 10 years! I had a big dream of being a famous drummer, but chose to do visual art instead. You can always find me tapping along to music, or air drumming like a beast when the crazy songs hit.
