Frankie, as most people refer to her, is an international editorial portrait, commercial advertising and sports photographer. Born in Italy, raised in South America she has travelled the world with her lenses and calls the north of England her home where she’s permanently based

In addition to her everyday street documentary photography and her sports career she has advanced through the ranks to become a highly sought product and food photographer. She also has been featured in several art galleries, local papers, blogs and publications over the past 11 years.

Frankie is available to travel for assignments across the U.K. and Internationally. She always has her passport(s) ready!
When she’s not on a shoot or assignment she’s more likely to be attending or watching a football match wherever she is in the world.
She’s also a massive nerd so her entire personality is trivia games and snacks.

Ask her about these things if you want to know more about her:

Pets, any pets. Any animal will do really, doesn’t even have to be domesticated.
The never ending scrolling of 5000+ songs she has in Spotify.
Other photographers that she thinks should be resuscitated or cloned.
The movie Sister Act.
Food.

More about Frances A....

What do you love about your job?

Everything!
Whether it's to bring a concept to life, capture a brief interaction or simply portray an emotion, my line of work in photography allows me to quite literally frame a moment of someone's history.
And throughout all of these wonderful things I get to support myself while using a creative outlet of storytelling, which also (very conveniently) happens to be my passion.

Additionally, it's a lot of fun.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I have done many professional shoots for editorials, covered all types of events and portrait photography including; families, headshots for artists and corporate professionals. I'm also constantly working on Photojournalism and commercial photography for exceptional brands and creative entrepreneurs on top of my Sports coverage.
I like to think that every single shoot is special and is always treated that way. I take my time on many different small details and I always let my clients know that what is perceived as a job for me is an excuse to have a good time.

Awards, honors, and recognitions received

I was honoured by fineArt America in 2019 for my Landscape series.
I have won the AI-AP competition for women in Photography in 2014.
And I have participated in the 2010 Making all mothers visible campaign featuring as the cover photo for Bs. As.

A fun fact about this photographer

I went to an art School for musicians. Played several instruments but never made anything out of it. I worked as a bartender for many years but I rarely have a drink myself and as a hobby I make things on a 3D printer, because why not?
