Francesca Hernandez is a professional photographer with over six years of experience, and has been published in both Voyage Phoenix Magazine, as well as Voyage LA Magazine. Francesca is a self-taught photographer, and specializes in portraiture photography. Additionally, Francesca has extensive experience photographing weddings. Francesca portrays her imagery style as "moody" and "timeless", as it often showcases warm tones and well-lit exposure of natural lighting.
I love meeting people and being able to capture such special moments and milestones for them. My family barely took photos when I was growing up so the ones I do have, I cherish very much. My favorite thing is knowing that photos from my sessions will end up in scrapbooks and photo albums that will, hopefully, be looked through and cherished for generations to come. Photos are timeless keepsakes, which is the reason i'm very proud of what I do!
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I've done many types of shoots, but no two are alike! Being personable and getting to know my clients before/during their shoot always makes for a special session. The most special sessions are the wedding I shoot. Most weddings I've shot have been without a wedding coordinator/planner, which usually means the bride is a little more stressed than typical. Meaning, I take it upon myself to help make sure things run smoothly. Sometimes, things don't fall into place as you'd assume during weddings -- so if I have to make sure everyone's where they need to be, I'm happy to do it! Not because I hope it'll score me brownie points with the bride, but because relieving even a tiny bit of stress for the bride and groom will result in a much better flow of events and photos. Which, is brownie points for myself!
