Frank Messer IV is originally from the "Live Free or Die" state of New Hampshire he's also lived in Boston, San Diego and Los Angeles. Frank started in photography about 5 years ago taking pictures of landscapes and street scenes. He quickly became fascinated in digital photography and continued to try different styles like Portrait, Wedding and Long Exposure. In 2015 Frank started at Samy's Camera in Hollywood, CA. There he got to learn everything imaginably about photography and the industry. Frank learned many different photographic methods such as strobe lighting setups and underwater photography just to name a few.

Photography is the tool that allows him to connect to the world. I believe that each person and moment has an essence that can be captured through a camera. He typically carry a camera wherever he go, but when he's not shooting you can find him listening to records, going to concerts and spending time with his lovely wife.

More about Frank M....

What do you love about your job?

I love interacting with clients. Keeping the positive energy and getting the most out of the shoot. Most photographers I meet don't like the editing process. I love to editing different styles and lighting based on the product or client.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

Lately I've been shooting a lot of beer photos. Yeah Beer lol. Not as easy as it sounds. Lighting is always something I think about first when shooting beer in a glass or just a can. I have a stage lighting setup I used to bounce some interesting colors in the back ground to give the shot some depth. Then for the glass or can itself I use a speed lite. Gives it a cool look and feel.
