More about Gareth S....

What do you love about your job?

I love capturing the moment whether that's an expression, some personality or the action. I am good at bringing out the best in people during any kind of lifestyle or advertising photography. I am always learning so new challenges or being adaptable seems to be a strength. My architectural photography is very good because I continuously work hard at improving but also because I'm the son of an architect.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

Social media advertising campaigns for St. Michael's College School's drumline show themes.
Studio shoots for musicians.
Theatre productions - understanding of unique lighting challenges and capturing "special moments"
Architectural photography for realtors, home stagers and interior designers.

Awards, honors, and recognitions received

Recognition on the photographer websites Viewbug & YouPic
Don't really enter photography competitions (they don't lead to any income)
Best recognition comes from my clients.

A fun fact about this photographer

I studied musical theatre at the Banff School of Fine Arts, was a singer/dancer at Canada's Wonderland theme park when it first opened and I'm a marching band show designer for groups in North America and Europe.
