More about Gwyneth H....
What do you love about your job?
I love doing photography for the same reason as most people, I love capturing the moments, the smiles, the hugs, the laughter, and the tears. I love photography as a form of art, a chance not just to capture real life but to capture a world unseen. I believe photography isn't just about the end result, it's about creating memories to go with them. I believe doing photos with a photographer shouldn't make you feel awkward or self conscious, it should be fun and relaxing and even in some cases it should feel like the photographer isn't even there. I love photography not just because it can capture life's moments forever or because you can create art, but I also love photography because it's a chance to give people an experience thats fun, so that in the end you don't just have pictures you also have some fun memories to go along with them.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
When I work with couples who are engaged or planning a wedding I like to meet with them before hand and talk to them about the things they like in photos and colors, I like to edit my photos to match the couples personality and taste. I like to talk to them about what music they like and their hobbies and get to know them, usually over a cup of coffee. For weddings I like the bride to make a Pinterest board, if she hasn't already, so I can see what she likes, more posed or more natural photos. For engagement sessions I like to bring along a speaker and play some music while I take photos, I like to ask the couple questions to ask each other or to talk about how they first met so the couple feels relaxed and at home no matter where we decide to take the pictures. I have experience in one on one portraits with adults, teens, and kids. With the same goal being to make the client feel comfortable and like they're having fun and not just completing a set of photos for their school or for their mom.

My product photography as been featured on Instagram by Monq and a local coffee shop reached out to me to have my photography hung in their shop.
A fun fact about this photographer
I did traditional art for almost 10 years, every once and a while you can still find me sketching or painting to relax. I love dancing and music so you might see doing a little dance while I'm taking photos and I apologize in advance for me dorky camera dances.
