More about Hannah C....
What do you love about your job?
The endless possibilities in creating a photograph. There are so many factors at play when you snap the shutter, plan beforehand, and edit in post. I was a professional classical musician for several years, and I love that photography is similar to music in many ways. Perfecting my craft, constantly practicing and getting better, and paying attention to detail are just a few things that make it similar.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done portrait sessions, model tests, couples sessions, graduation shoots, and headshot sessions. Recently, I did several grad photo sessions at Yale Law School, where the women I photographed showed me their favorite courtyards and classrooms—it was special because they felt a sentimental connection to the locations and had fun showing me around.
