Storytelling is one of my favourite things in life. Stories are a popular form of art. It could be for a story of your wedding, birthday, christening or a celebration of a special event; with photography a story can be pictured and therefore seen and felt more profoundly at a visual level. However, art is a lie that tells us the truth. So alleviated patience and thorough preparation are of paramount importance for me when creating every shoot to tell that unique story. This makes every one of my shoots a unique and personalised production created through a reflective lens of my personal experience of the author. It results in the pleasure, joy and amazement of my clients which makes me love my job.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done photography for a great number of events - corporate, birthdays, christenings, weddings, mother’s day, father’s day, states of origin, ANZAC day, Christmas and NY celebrations. Having 7 years of experience in hospitality event management was actually a great benefit for me as a photographer - knowing all the key stages, understanding the agenda and important elements to the flow. My special touch was to learn in-depth what ticks the boxes of my client and then complete the shoot having this emphasis in mind.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
A great number of my photos and videos have been used to promote my clients on their media channels. I have also recently submitted my work to the Portraiture Photograph of the Year 2020 competition.
A fun fact about this photographer
When I was a kid I always wanted to become a doctor just like my parents. I wanted to help people survive in moments of pain and despair. After reaching maturity, I have become a professional photographer helping people forever memorise these special moments of joy celebrating life.
