More about Jacki S....
What do you love about your job?
I love the freedom that comes with freelancing and the excitement of getting out of my comfort zone and meeting new people. As someone who enjoys travelling, I take every opportunity to explore new places, learn about new cultures, and immerse myself in various events through photography.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I've covered a wide variety of shoots, namely portraits, corporate events, music festivals, bridal showers, weddings, headshots, and school club events.
In order to make my clients feel special, I always prioritize quality over quantity as a photographer. This naturally translates into setting clear expectations before the shoot to ensure that my client's vision is properly executed.
As an example, for my portrait shoots, I will typically suggest up to three different locations and send a preliminary "moodboard" to the client to help them visualize what the process would look like. I also like bringing my speakers and playing music at photoshoots to help my subjects feel more relaxed when shooting.

A fun fact about this photographer
I directed a short experimental film which premiered at the TIFF Bell Lightbox in university. This was my first taste at film production and I absolutely loved the experience!
