What do you love about your job?
I love photography for the opportunities it creates. At a music festival, it gives me a reason to walk up to a stranger and get to know them. On the street, its an opportunity to show off the city that I love. At a restaurant, its an opportunity to help a local business get more customers. For a couple, it's an opportunity to capture a special moment in their lives forever. Regardless of the type of photography, it opens doors, starts conversations and brings people together. I love every part of it!
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I've done all kinds, events, products, real estate, food. You name it. But it's portraits where I can really make things special there's just to many cool ways you can capture a human face. So I ask the client what they want, ask them for references, then based on that and my own artistic flair I send them a couple references and the result is something in between!
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
I haven't received any formal awards for my photography, but if you Google "Post Malone Vancouver" one my photos is the 2nd result. If you Google "Billie Eilish Vancouver" my photos are the 1st & 3rd-7th photos. It's not Rolling Stone, but it's something!
A fun fact about this photographer
I'm a multi-faced creative - besides photos, I also do videography, graphic design, product design, interior design, fashion design and copywriting. I'll also be pursuing a music career in 2021, I write music and sing! The only creative skills I don't do are drawing, painting and sculpting - those never came to me naturally so I haven't tried in a while.
