What do you love about your job?
What do I love about my job? Everything.
First and foremost, it's never felt like work. Photography isn't just a job, it's my passion, my purpose. I've never lost a gratefulness that I have the opportunity to do what I love.
I find meaning in my work. Whether I'm photographing a wedding or capturing everyday moments, I believe in the power of photography.
But it's not just about the photos, it's about the people. I love being around people, learning from them, and representing them in the best possible light. Each person I photograph has a unique story, and it's an honour to capture their essence in a single image.
And then there's the creative aspect. Problem-solving on the spot, finding the perfect angle or lighting, it's just fun. When I'm shooting, I'm completely present, completely in my element. It's addictive, that feeling of creating something that means something to me and the subject.
In short, I love my job. The artistry, the humanity, the sheer joy of it.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done a lot of different types of photo shoots in the last 15 years.
When it comes to personal photography like weddings or events I have enjoyed being the observer and curating a mood in the photos that I believe express how it felt to be there.
If it has been in the advertising or commercial space, i have always enjoyed digging into the brands voice and using photography techniques to communicate it.

I was awarded one of Australasias Top emerging photographers 2 years in a row early in my career.
