What do you love about your job?
I love to travel, and a key part of travel is to experience every part of the culture you're visiting, including food. I love to try new foods and gorge on my all time favorite dishes. Being able to document those amazing dishes and to bring out the textures and intricacy is such a creative rush. I love to show the true extent of a dish and its capabilities, before it even reaches your mouth.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
With my food photography, I like to emphasize the type of dish or atmosphere portrayed by the restaurant itself. By using the utensils, bowls, decoration that they use in their own restaurant in my photos, I am able to capture who the restaurant is. Same with family photos. I ask families to bring something special to them or their kiddos to capture who they are or who their kid is at that age, by personalizing their photo session.

A fun fact about this photographer
I'm originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and being able to experience both Bosnian and American culture has given me a open and grateful view on life.
