More about Jean-Claude Q....

What do you love about your job?

I love the ability to provide insight and reflection to those seeking it, and I love the ability to provide happiness, comfort, and security to those seeking it. Those, and a myriad of things in-between the are the things I love about my job, new gear and inventiveness in the field notwithstanding.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

My first shoot was of a business management graduate. She wanted photos of her in her cap and gown on the very campus she graduated from. Because we both attended the same college, encouraging her to envision life beyond the place made that shoot special.

When I was called to shoot and film my first Burlesque show, at the front of my mind was the fact that the lives embodying the personas onstage were extensions and expressions of lives needing to be lived.

A fun fact about this photographer

I won two awards in my first film festival competition. They were the "Best Entry-Level" and "Audience Choice" awards.
