More about Jennifer W....
What do you love about your job?
I have always been interested in stories; from the moment I could talk, I would tell them. I imagined whole worlds with different characters and customs, and I spent hours upon hours flushing out those worlds with the foods they would eat and the fashion they would wear. I find photography to be an extension of story-telling. I set out to capture the story of a different world or character through the form and fashion of my models, and in doing so, I am able to convey my experience of this through an image. With each image, I hope to share the story that I have captured, and to inspire different worlds and characters through the imagination of the viewer as I have experienced for myself.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done a wide range of shoots from family and couple portraits, product photography, wedding and event, fashion editorials and personal art projects that don't really fit neatly in one category or another, but the one common ground out of all of them is people. I love working with people and getting that chance to talk and get to know someone and try to bring out their personality and story in my shot.

A fun fact about this photographer
I took a few classes in traditional printmaking, and I already have a room filled with prints I have made and traded for.
