Johnny is an experienced professional photographer that has been shooting for over 5 years in the Los Angeles area. He primarily works in portraits, lifestyle and weddings but his expertise has also stretched to real estate photography and live concert shoots. He graduated from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, regarded as one of the top journalism schools in the country. It was in school where he first learned about camera work and how to tell a story.
I love telling stories visually, which is why I love movies and photographs. There's just nothing like the feeling of being able to capture an entire story in one photograph or sometimes capturing a moment and having people give different interpretations of that shot. It creates conversation and art.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have shot tons of headshots and portraits. Mostly for actors and models. I enjoy coming up with ways to achieve the looks they want after we talk about what story they are trying to tell. It makes me really happy to see their face light up when I get a shot and they say, "thats me, you captured who I am."
