More about JR M....
What do you love about your job?
Love having the opportunity to capture special and unique moments. Getting the subject to smile and laugh with me which makes the session successful.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
Recently, I did an assignment with a longtime model I worked with from a portrait club for like 5 years. Jordan and her mom found a dress at a thrift store and wanted an environmental portrait in the bike trails in Bethpage State Park in the late afternoon. With only portable speedlights, we were able to create a fine art portrait of "The Princess in the Enchanted Woods" as I called it.
Another assignment was to capture a movie make who wanted to put on a pair of pointe shoes with her skinny jeans and a feathered vest to dance under an atrium in Northport Harbor using high speed sych on portable speedlights.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
I've had my photowork published on Barrett Jackson and Greater New York Dealer Association for my photowork at the NY International Auto Show.
