What do you love about your job?
I love that my job gives me the opportunity to empower people. It's great to feel confident and love how you look in a photo. I strive to make all my clients feel this way. Similarly, when photographing sports or events, I love capturing a special moment and then being able to share that photo with people so they can have that moment forever. I love that my job gives me a creative outlet and the opportunity to constantly work with new people. I love that I can always learn new techniques in camera and off to continuously improve my work.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I’ve done several types of shoots. From countless events and sports games to family and senior portrait sessions, I love to make every shoot special. One way I do this is by making sure I know my clients expectations. Knowing your expectations makes it easier for me to make sure I get the shots you need! I like to get to know my clients so they feel more comfortable and their authentic selves come out in the photos. I love to bring a few props with me. Sometimes interacting with a prop or holding something can totally change how comfortable someone appears in a photo.
A fun fact about this photographer
One fun fact about me is that my favorite season is fall! I LOVE fall. Sweaters and hoodies are so comfortable and in fall I can wear them comfortably. At the tail end of fall it’s football season and the beginning of basketball season (my favorite sport to shoot and watch)! I also enjoy pumpkin chocolate chip cookies- and of course, pumpkin flavored coffee. Outdoor shoots in fall are more enjoyable because the weather is ideal (not 110 degrees). While Las Vegas doesn’t fully experience the seasons or get leaves that change colors- the fall atmosphere is still my favorite.
